Will Brand, CRCP® joined NewEdge Advisors as the Chief Compliance Officer in 2022. As the CCO, along with the rest of the Compliance team, Will is responsible for designing, implementing, and executing the regulatory compliance program of NewEdge Advisors and to do so in a way that protects both the firm and advisors, while bringing a common-sense, business-forward approach. Prior to joining NewEdge, Will served as Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer of Triad Advisors for 12 years. He has also held previous positions at a compliance consulting firm, Equifax, and Prudential.

Will is a 2001 graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration. While at UGA, Will met his future wife, and they currently reside in the Atlanta, GA, area with their two teen children and pups. In GA, Will and his wife continue to revel in the excitement of UGA winning the NCAA Football Championship and the Atlanta Braves winning the World Series within three months of each other. When he’s not working, Will enjoys fishing, golf, tennis, pickleball, and playing in disc golf tournaments.
